Concordia

Tuesday, December 7th, 2010

Concordia is a not-for-profit organisation whose aim is to provide young people with quality opportunities for international work experience, fostering cross-cultural understanding and friendship. One way it does this is to bring students from abroad to work on farms in the UK. It also enables young British people to participate in international projects around the world.

Concordia offers seasonal work experience throughout the United Kingdom. Traditionally placements have been offered to participants who have come from Central and Eastern European countries. Places are currently restricted to European Union Nationals. Our Student Worker Education Programme is open to other nationals providing they meet the strict criteria.

Coming on a placement through Concordia allows you to visit the UK in a structured and well organised way. You will also benefit from the support that Concordia can offer you while you are here. Our applicants return home with additional knowledge, experience and a maturity that will be of benefit to them and their universities. You will gain new skills, explore the country and meet people from all over the world. You can also develop a degree of independence, learning to budget your own money and cook for yourself.
